Liberal moved to 4-5 overall Saturday after a pair of wins in Wichita.

The Lady Redskins knocked off Wichita South 25-3 in a three-inning game and then knocked off Wichita North 5-0.

Wichita South struggle with pitching against the Lady Redskins by walking 16 batters

The Lady Redskins added six hits including two from Elizabeth Mannel and Miley Janko. Mannel also had four RBIs, and Janko had two.

Zoey Torres pitched three innings  and allowed three runs on three hits while walking one and striking out five.

In the second game of the split double header, the Lady Redskins defeated Wichita North with eight hits and a complete game from Taylor Harding.

Harding tossed the four-hit shutout while walking two and striking out 10.

Mannel had another two-hit game, and Torres also had a two-hit effort at the plate. Harding was the third Lady Redskins two have two hits in the game.

The Lady Redskins return to the Wichita area today to face Maize.
