FOWLER – Eva L. Lundeen, 90, died Aug. 19, 2026 at the Heritage Home in Alma.
She was born April 28, 1936 to Wesley and Irene (King) Donley.
She graduated from Milan High School in 1954. She later attended Southwestern College in Winfield.
She married Douglas Lundeen July 29, 1956. He preceded her in death.
She worked for 22 years for the Fowler State Bank while raising the family.
She was an active member of the Fowler United Methodist Church and the C.C.C. club.
She looked forward to her morning coffee and conversations, watching birds, reading, helping Doug on the farm in her younger days, and attending her children's activities.
In her later years, Eva took pleasure in attending her grandchildren's events. She also found immense joy in traveling out west with Doug and their friends.
Survivors include sons, Jay (Jolene) Lundeen and Steve (Robin) Lundeen; daughter, LeAnn (Brent) Medley; sister, Louan Shore; 11 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren, with one on the way.
She was also preceded in death by her parents.
• In accordance with her request, cremation has taken place. A joint celebration of life for Eva and Doug will take place at a later date in Fowler.
Burial will follow at the Fowler Cemetery in Fowler.
Memorials are suggested to the Heritage Home in Alma in care of Fidler-Orme-Bachman Mortuary in Mead.
