Joe Curley Foster, 63, died Tuesday, March 17, 2026 at his home in Liberal.  

He was born July 8, 1962 to Sarah Mann and adopted by Joe Foster Sr. and Ruby Foster.  

He married Mary Hendricks May 23, 2007. She survives.

He had an unwavering love for God and always gave sound, honest, and bible-based advice. 

He owned Hot Shot Transportation and bus tourism companies. For a time he even drove a bull wagon (semi full of cattle). 

He loved trucks, tractors, motorcycles, and boats. 

He was an avid fisherman and always respected the environment.  

Survivors also include his birth mother; daughters: Amanda Foster, Jasmine Foster and Mariah Foster; son, Amon Foster; sisters: Rosalind Campbell, Lynn Kent, Connie Walls, and Velma Spicer; brothers, Roderick Mann and Ronnie Spicer; grandchildren: Ashtyn Foster, Azaria Foster, and Kason Foster; special cousins: Juanita Rollins, Willis Perry and Warren Perry; many nieces and nephews; and many lifelong friends from Wenonah High School.

He was preceded in death by his adoptive parents; son, Joe Foster III; grandmother, Velma Stallworth; sisters, Joanne Underwood and Nona Caldwell; and brother, Alan Mann.

• Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, April 2, 2026 at the Miller Mortuary Chapel in Liberal.

Burial will follow at Restlawn Cemetery.
