Jetta Denise Jennings Goswick, 67, died Monday, April 6, 2026.

She was born July 31, 1958 to Darold and Sue (Schweitzberger) Ungerer.

She married Don Jennings May 30, 1995. He preceded her in death Jan. 1, 2010.

She married Eric Goswick Dec. 6, 2010. He survives.

She graduated from Southwestern Heights High School with the Class of 1976.

She worked as a school bus driver for almost 40 years, serving Liberal USD 480 for 30 years. She was instrumental in the implementation of the blinking strobe lights for fog visibility, which Kansas enacted into law July 1, 2007.

In her younger years she enjoyed playing softball. She also enjoyed playing BINGO, Bowling, Dirt Track Racing, the Colorado Mountains, and spending time with her family.

Survivors also include son, Dru Alan Schott; sisters, Kelli Newton (Russell) and Traci Schnieder; granddaughter, Bethany Schott; three grandsons: Wyatt Schott, Daniel Foster, and Spencer Schott; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Gus Adam Schott; and brother, Robert Ungerer.

• Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday, April 10, 2026 at the Kismet Methodist Church in Kismet.

Memorials are suggested to the Kismet Methodist Church.
