Betty Lou Lanford, 85, died Wednesday, April 15, 2026.

She was born May 24, 1940 to William and Gracie (Edwards) Keen.

She married Richard Lanford Sept. 16, 1966. He preceded her in death March 3, 2020.

She was caring, generous, a fashionable woman, and an excellent cook.

She was a Jehovah's Witness and enjoyed talking about the Bible.

Survivors include son, Rick Lanford and wife, Anna; nine grandchildren; and 11 great grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Donna McCoy; granddaughter, Kimberly Lanford; and grandsons: Jeremy Lanford, Justin Bowman, and Michael McCoy.

• Per Betty's wishes, there will be no public viewing and cremation has taken place.

Memorial services will be announced at a later date.
