HUGOTON – Zo Ann Roland, 85, died May 13, 2026 at Kansas Medical Center in Andover.
She was born Dec. 21, 1940 to Raymond and Avis (Anderson) Curtis.
She graduated from Moscow High School and later attended Fort Hays State University.
She married Garry Roland in 1959. He survives.
She worked many different jobs – one of her first jobs was as a telephone operator in Moscow, and she also worked at the CO-OP, the post office, and drove both activity and route buses for the school.
She was a member of Moscow United Methodist Church, where she cared for and maintained the church facilities and played the piano. She served as a Junior High UMYF sponsor.
Survivors also include her children: Cary Roland and wife, Susan, Candace Lampe and husband, Willis, and Amy Shirley and husband, Tom; brother, Roy Curtis; 10 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Ray Curtis; and infant sister, Judith Curtis.
• Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, May 30, 2026 at Moscow Christian Fellowship Church in Moscow, with Patty Lahey presiding.
