David Lynn Mitchell, 70, died Thursday, June 18, 2026, at BSA Hospital in Amarillo, Texas.

He was born Dec. 20, 1955 to Earl and Evelyn (McEntire) Mitchell.

He worked as a parts manager for Harley-Davidson for more than 20 years.

He enjoyed watching old western movies, riding his Harley, participating in charity fundraisers, and spending time with family.

Survivors include his sister, Judy Gill; and many cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Jamie Lou Mitchell; and brother-in-law, Fred Gill.

• Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Friday, June 26, 2026 at Restlawn Cemetery.

Friends may call from 12 to 6 p.m. Thursday, June 25, 2026 at Hornung Family Funeral Home at 1212 W 2nd Street in Liberal.
