MEADE – Martin B. Reimer, 94, died Friday, July 24, 2026 at Lone Tree Retirement Center in Meade.

He was born May 7, 1932 to Jacob and Margaretha Reimer.

He was baptized June 15, 1947, at Emmanuel Mennonite Church, where he remained a member throughout his life. He served in many capacities, including as an usher, Sunday school teacher, Awana leader, Youth Leader, chairman of the board of trustees, and as a member of the church building addition committee.

He married Gladys Kroeker July 20, 1958. She survives.

He also owned and operated Reimer Hoe and Trenching.

Survivors also include son, Lin Reimer; daughter-in-law, Laurie Reimer; granddaughters, Jillian and Meagan; brother, Dave Reimer and wife, Trish; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and brothers, Benhard Reimer and Jacob Reimer.

• Funeral services took place Monday, July 27, 2026 at Emmanuel Mennonite Church in Meade.  

Burial took place at the Emmanuel Mennonite Church Cemetery in Meade.

Memorials are suggested to the Grace Life Bible Camp in care of Fidler-Orme-Bachman Funeral Home in Meade.
