After suffering a run-rule loss at Woodward, Okla., Thursday, the Redskins played their first home game in a rematch with the Boomers and came away with a 6-4 win.

The game had an early controversial call when Woodward reached across the foul line in front of third base to field a ball and start a double play. But after Eric Olmstead discussed the play, the umpire reversed the call, and Ethan Olmstead scored.

Liberal built a 6-1 lead heading into the seventh before the Boomers rallied for three runs before Austin Dodge closed out the win.

Olmstead, Kye Morris and Eathan Hernandez all had two hits in the win.

Liberal (5-8) hosts Garden City (8-6) today.
