L&T staff report

The young Lady Redskins continued to earn experience on the field in a tough Western Athletic Conference, and Liberal fell to Garden City 11-2.

The Lady Redskins had a one-run lead after the first inning, but errors started to mount, and the Lady Buffaloes were able to score five runs in the second, another five in the third and a run in the fourth to take an 11-1 lead.

The Lady Redskins avoided the run rule by scoring a run in the fifth.

Devaney Carter pitched a complete game and only allowed one earned run while striking out four and not allowing a walk.
