Barbara Ann Frost, 79, died Aug. 23, 2026. 

She was born Aug. 23, 1947 to Francis and Marian Condie.

Her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren brought tremendous joy to her life, and she was happiest when everyone was together.

Her working years were spent as a café cook and homemaker. She loved to cook, and feeding people was one of the ways she showed her love.

Some of the family’s favorite memories include sitting around a table playing games, with Canasta, Rummy, Phase 10, and Yahtzee as favorites.

Her faith in Jesus Christ was an important part of her life. Her family takes comfort in knowing that although they grieve her passing, they do so with the hope found in Christ and the promise of eternal life.

Survivors include daughter, Sherri (Maton) McLemore; sons, Troy (Tammie) McVickers and Jason (Melissa) Frost; son-in-law, Steve Abbott; daughter-in-law, Monica McVickers; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Diane Condie; daughter, Maureen Abbott; son, Mark McVickers; and great-granddaughter, Alana McLemore.

• Friends may call from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, Aug. 28, 2026 at Hornung Family Funeral Home at 1212 W. 2nd Street in Liberal.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 29, 2026 at the Hornung Family Funeral Home Chapel in Liberal.

Burial will follow at the Forgan Cemetery in Forgan, Okla.
