HASKELL COUNTY – The Kansas Bureau of Investigation (KBI) is investigating an officer-involved shooting that occurred Sunday morning in Haskell County.
The Haskell County Sheriff’s Office requested KBI investigative assistance Sunday at 1:55 a.m. KBI agents and the Crime Scene Response Team responded to the scene.
A Liberal woman is dead following a rollover accident Sunday night in Ellis County, Okla.
The Oklahoma Highway Patrol reported around 10 p.m. Sunday, a 2004 Ford F-150 was westbound on Ellis County Road 37 about 730 feet west of U.S. Highway 283 or about 14 miles north of Shattuck, Okla.

Effective Saturday, the agency will no longer offer those services in house. Now individuals previously employed in Mosaic’s shredding operations will have the opportunity to work directly with M.F. Docu-Shred.
Summer reading officially begins next week for the Liberal community, and a group of mad scientists will help kick off the fun.
Mad Science will be making its way to Liberal Memorial Library Monday, June 3 as part of the library's kickoff party, and the show will start at 2 p.m. Coordinator Derick Brock said he and his fellow scientists had fun putting together this year’s show.
