JOHNSON – Timothy (Tim) Russell Geary, 67, died Sunday, Oct. 18, 2026.

He built a successful welding business through dedication, perseverance, and the pride he took in providing for his family.

He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting, firearms, and shooting.

He was the kind of man who would shoulder his own struggles rather than burden another, yet never hesitate to help someone else carry theirs.

Above all, he cherished his family's history and legacy. Loyalty, family honor, and lifelong friendships were values he held close.

Survivors include sister-in-law, Margaret Geary; his nieces and nephews: Jacqueline "Jackie" Geary, Daphne Geary, Brandon Johnson, Cody Treadwell, Casey Rowbotham, and Cristin Peters; Devon Geary, surviving wife of his nephew, Philip; and many other family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Francis (Nutter) Geary and Russell Geary; brothers, David Geary and James Geary; sister, Katherine "Kay" Rowbotham; and nephew, Philip Geary.

• Funeral services will take place in the summer of 2027. Additional details regarding the date, time, and location will be announced at a later date.
