ULYSSES – Luis Angel Guaderrama, 23, died Saturday, March 28, 2026 in Ulysses. 

He was born Dec. 14, 2002 to Jesus and Guadalupe Guaderrama.

He graduated from Ulysses High School.

He worked at Kroy Industries as a line operator. 

He took great pride in his car, cruising and spending time with his friends, listening to music, snowboarding, traveling, and spending time with his cousins.

Survivors include his parents; brother, Jesus Guaderrama Jr.; sister, Jayleen Guaderrama; grandfather, Leo Guaderrama; and many other family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Itzel Anai Guaderrama; and grandparents: Esperanza Ornelas, Jose Luis Ornelas and Ramona Payan.

• Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, April 1, 2026 at Mary, Queen of Peace Catholic Church in Ulysses, with Reverend Eric Gyamfi presiding. 

Burial will follow at the Ulysses Cemetery in Ulysses. 

Memorials are suggested to Luis Guaderrama Memorial Fund in care of Garnand Funeral Home at 405 W. Grant Avenue, Ulysses, KS  67880.
