Anita Kaye Talbert, 66, died Thursday, July 31, 2026, in Hugoton.
She was born June 8, 1960 to Russell and Janice Begnoche.
She married Alan Dale Talbert May 13, 1989. He survives.
She enjoyed time spent at the lake, where she enjoyed fishing and making lasting memories. In her later years, she delighted in crafting homemade vanilla, brewing dandelion tea, and baking fresh bread.
Survivors also include daughter, Crystal Kay Swinney; brother, David Arnold; sister-in-law, Cindy; brothers and sister-in-law: Max Papay and wife, Cecilla Papay, Ray Talbert and wife, Lita Talbert, and Doneva Beeman; grandchildren, Shelby Makay Swinney and Scott "Bubba" Swinney; great-grandchildren: Maddix Swinney, Parker Cushenbery, Braxton Swinney, Asher Cushenbery, and Cohen Swinney.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and brother, Danny Arnold.
• Funeral services took place Tuesday, Aug. 4, 2026 at the Hugoton Church of the Nazarene, followed by burial at Hugoton Cemetery.
A memorial has been established for Pheasant Heaven Charities in care of Robson Funeral Home, PO Box 236, Hugoton, KS 67951.
