Those looking for some extra razzle-dazzle will soon have just that chance if they make their way to Wichita.
The American Theatre Guild will be presenting the Tony Award-winning musical "Chicago" at Century II Performing Arts Center in Wichita. Performances will be Friday, Dec. 20 (7:30 p.m.), Saturday, Dec. 21 (2 and 7:30 p.m.) and Sunday, Dec. 22 (1 p.m). The show follows the story of Roxie Hart, a housewife and nightclub dancer who murders her lover after he threatens to walk out on her. Desperate to avoid conviction, she dupes the public, the media and her rival cellmate, Velma Kelly, by hiring Chicago’s slickest criminal lawyer, Billy Flynn, to transform her malicious crime into a barrage of sensational headlines.
