The LPD is looking for temporary caregivers for children who are awaiting a long-term arrangement. These are children who are facing difficult situations due to abuse or neglect, and the caregivers are able to provide a safe and nurturing environment for these children when they need it most. Christmas is a time when gifts are exchanged between family and friends, and as it is most any time of year, the Seward County Sheriff’s office is in the giving spirit too this holiday season.
