JOHNSON – John Thomas Spencer (Tom), 60, died Sept. 29, 2026, in Oklahoma City.

He was born July 17, 1966 to John and Clara (Chase) Spencer. 

He worked at the hardware store and lumberyard in Johnson for 23 years.

Survivors include son, Aaron Spencer, Arkansas City; granddaughter, Acacia Haze Spencer; brother, David Spencer, Yukon, Okla.; nephews: Tyler Spencer and wife, Sherri, and their children Laiken and Harper Spencer, Cody Spencer and wife, Mercadie, and their children, Gracie and Graham Spencer, and Richard Spencer and children, Charles and Josslin Spencer; nieces, Jennifer Kincaid and partner, Chris Patrick, and their son, Jacob Kincaid, and Casey Little, Alex Little, and their children Kadin Spencer, Tiana Blevins, Addison Spencer, and Averie Little.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers: Donny, Dick, and Jack Spencer; sisters: Susan Spencer, Wilma Spence and Wanda Smith; and nephew, David Erik Spencer.

• Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 15, 2026 at Johnson First United Methodist Church at 202 S. Nipp Street in Johnson, with Pastor David Phillips presiding.

Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 14, 2026 at Garnand Funeral Home in Johnson.
