ULYSSES – Garland Mason, 90, died Monday, Oct. 19, 2026 at Capstone Healthcare of Perryton in Perryton, Texas.

He was born Oct. 23, 1935 to Murray and Ruby (Taber) Mason.

Survivors include three sons: Rocky (Leona) Mason, Brian Mason, and Heath Mason; brothers, Bobby Dean and Johnny Lee; sister, Shirley Ann (Mason) Meek; seven grandchildren: Kelly (Mason) and Lance Frazier, Kurtis and Amanda Mason, Dalton Kincaid, Mickey Mason, Jesse Cantrell, Amanda Mason, Ryan Mason; and seven great-grand- children: Lane Stand, Madison Frazier, Konnor Mason, Reed Mason, Kendyl and Kanyon Cantrell and Izabella Kincaid.

He was preceded in death by his parents; five brothers; three sisters; daughter-in-law, Susan Mason; and granddaughter, Myranda Mason.

• Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Monday, Oct. 26, 2026 at the Ulysses Cemetery in Ulysses, with Pastor Bergan Morris presiding. 

Friends may call from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 25, 2026 at Garnand Funeral Home.
