James "Sarge" McDaniel, 73, died Monday, Feb. 3, 2025 at his home in Tyrone, Okla.
He was born Dec. 8, 1951 to James and Clara (House) McDaniel.
He married Patsy Ruth Shumate Wesley March 31, 1972. She survives.

HAVEN CURTIS-DEGOLLADO
LAKIN – Haven Skye Curtis-Degollado died Monday, May 19, 2025 at Children’s Mercy Hospital in Kansas City, Mo.
She was born Dec. 12, 2024 to Eyan Curtis and Faith Degollado in Kansas City, Mo.
Though her time here was brief, Haven touched countless lives with her strength, her spirit, and the deep love she inspired in those who knew her.

If you are reading this, it is because on May 20, 2025, I slipped the bonds of this mortal earth and I’m standing at the feet of God singing his praises and living in my heavenly home.
I was born Connie Lou Parr Jan. 28, 1930 to Rufus and Georgia (Keller) Parr in Garden City. I was the oldest of five siblings. My brother, Gordon Parr and my parents got here before me. My sister, Patricia Roberts of Garden City, Steve Parr (Wanda) of Garden City, and Rodney Parr of Wyola, Mont. are still enjoying life on earth.
GARY BURKHART
ULYSSES – Gary Burkhart, 86, died Tuesday, May 13, 2025 at his home in Ulysses.
He was born Aug. 3, 1938 to George and Ethel (Francis) Burkhart.
He married Bonnie Jean Slifer Aug. 14, 1966 in El Dorado. She preceded him in death in 2021.
STEVE CAMPBELL
Steven "Soup" Riggs Campbell, 71, died Wednesday, May 14, 2025 at his home in Hugoton.
He was born Jan. 11, 1954 to John Campbell and Mary (Riggs) Campbell.
He married his first wife, Virginia Sue (Ayers) Campbell. She preceded him in death in October 1989.
He married Marsha Jane (Harmon) Campbell March 30, 2002. She survives.
