ULYSSES – Carol D. Forsen, 83, died Sunday, March 9, 2025 at Western Prairie Senior Living Memory Care Unit in Ulysses.
She was born on February 7, 1942 to Lark and Mary (Ellis) Miller.
She married Robert “Bob” Forsen, Jr. March 12, 1981. He preceded her in death.
She worked as the deputy county treasurer for 29 years at the Grant County Courthouse.
ULYSSES – Jasmin Garcia, 29, died Friday, Feb. 28, 2025 in Garden City.
She was born January 26, 1996 to Omar and Maggie (Romero) Garcia.
She graduated from Moscow High School in 2014. She furthered her education at Seward County Community College, Garden City Community College, and studied to be a medical office assistant at Stratford Career Institute.
Marsha Nelson, 75, died Thursday, Feb. 27, 2025 in Wichita
She was born Sept. 21, 1949, in Alma, Mich.
She lived a life characterized by dedication and service, exemplified through her role as a secretary for the Finney County Courthouse in Garden City.
Doris Faye Desrochers, 84, died Tuesday, February 25, 2025, at Southwest Medical Center in Liberal.
She was born Oct. 14, 1940, in Foss, Okla.
She dedicated many years of her life to the restaurant and entertainment industries, working for D and D Restaurant and managing Lindberg Lanes at Sublette.
She enjoyed bowling, and dancing, and cherished the simple pleasure of watching movies.
