Justin Allen Roehr, 44, passed away peacefully at home Friday, June 5, 2026, after a courageous battle with glioblastoma.
Justin was born to Bruce Roehr and Lori Hada. He was a devoted husband, father, son, brother, and friend whose quiet strength and unwavering love left a lasting impact on everyone who knew him.
Justin met the love of his life, Steph, when they were both 18 years old and attending college. What began as a young love grew into a lifelong partnership built on friendship, trust, and unwavering devotion. They were together for 26 years and married for nearly 23 years. Together they raised two daughters, built a beautiful life, and created countless family memories.
Justin built a successful career having worked for ChampionX for 16 years. He was respected for his knowledge, strong work ethic, and willingness to help others. More than his professional accomplishments, Justin valued the relationships he built throughout his career. He was a trusted mentor, leader, and friend to many of his coworkers. He genuinely enjoyed helping others grow and succeed, and the respect and admiration of those he worked alongside meant a great deal to him.
Above all else, Justin was devoted to his family. He was incredibly proud of his daughters, Kaitlyn and Samantha, and being their dad was his greatest accomplishment. He celebrated their successes, encouraged them through challenges, and loved them unconditionally. He was grateful to be here and healthy enough to see Kaitlyn graduate from Texas Tech University with honors, and while he will not be here to attend Samantha’s high school graduation, he was extremely proud of her and all she has accomplished.
Justin enjoyed watching football, NASCAR, and college softball. He was a huge Dallas Cowboys and KState fan. He loved fishing, hunting, spending time on the ranch, and helping his dad and uncles on the family farm. Some of his favorite memories were attending sprint car races with his dad and brother. Justin and Steph also shared a love of rock music and enjoyed attending concerts and festivals together over the years.
At first, Justin could seem quiet and reserved, but those who knew him best knew his sense of humor and ability to make people laugh. He loved family gatherings, holidays, and game nights and was happiest when surrounded by the people he loved.
Justin was preceded in death by his grandparents: Norman Roehr, Barbara Roehr, Charles Davis, and Minnie Davis.
He is survived by his wife, Stephanie Roehr; his daughters, Kaitlyn Roehr and Samantha Roehr; his grandmother, Janice Roehr; his father, Bruce Roehr; his mother, Lori Hada, and stepfather, William Hada; his brother, Josh Roehr, and sister-in-law, Kelli Roehr; his stepsister, Brittany Stump and her husband, Kyle Stump, and their daughters, Peyton and Brylee; his stepsister, Kristen Hada and her partner, Kenzie Morrison, and their son, Sebastian; and many extended family members and friends who will miss him dearly.
Though his time with us was far too short, Justin leaves behind a legacy of love, faith, strength, and devotion to family. In the months before his passing, Justin found renewed peace in his faith and was baptized alongside his wife. His family finds comfort in knowing he is at peace and in the presence of the Lord.
