She married Wayne Purkeypyle in May of 2001. He preceded her in death Nov. 22, 2019.

JOHN BRENT
ULYSSES – John Francis Brent, 82, died Friday, May 17, 2024 at Manor of the Plains in Dodge City.
He was born Jan. 3, 1942 to Ola LeRoy and Helen Elizabeth (Weethee) Brent.
He married Janice Irene Troxel Dec. 23, 1962. She preceded him in death.
MARK WILSON
Mark Wayne Wilson, 58, died May 12, 2024.
He was born Aug. 20, 1965 to Billy Lynn Wilson and Donna Dee Johnson Wilson.
He graduated from Liberal High School in 1983. He earned a bachelor’s degree in science from Southwestern College in Winfield, and a master’s degree in science from Southwestern Oklahoma State University in Weatherford, Okla. He earned a comprehensive Culinary Certificate at Le Cordon Bleu College of Culinary Arts in Austin.
ROBERT CLINGAN JR.
Robert Walter “Robby” Clingan, Jr., 71, died Friday, March 15, 2024 in Sun City, Ariz.
He was born June 14, 1952 to Robert “Bob” and Margaret “Marg” Clingan.
He graduated from Liberal High School in 1970 and went on to attend the University of Oklahoma.
CYNTHIA MARTZ
Cynthia “Cindy” Martz, 76, died Tuesday May 14, 2024 at her home in Liberal.
She was born May 8, 1948 to Hersel and Opal (Waybright) Stebens.
She owned and operated Simply Uniform in Liberal until her retirement.
