Harry "Scott" Shrauner, 75, died Friday, April 5, 2024 in Carthage, Texas.

He was born Dec. 14, 1948 to Floyd and Roberta Shrauner.

He married Lynette Ann Reid Nov. 12, 1976. She survives.

He graduated with the Class of 1966. He attended Kansas State University, where he earned his bachelor's degree in agricultural economics.

Connie C Smith, 73, died Wednesday April 17, 2024 at Lone Tree Retirement Center in Meade.  She was born May 4, 1950 to Colin and Imogene (Ives) Smith.

She was a graduate of Liberal High School with the Class of 1968.

She worked as a billing clerk for National Beef Packing Company, retiring in 2012 after more than 40 years.

ULYSSES – Mark Edward Isaac, 69, died Thursday, April 11, 2024 in Wichita.

He was born Feb. 26, 1955 to Edward and Evelyn Smith Isaac.

He married Melissa Schwein in the fall of 1982.

William Michael “Mike” Bangs, 74, died Monday, April 8, 2024 at Wesley Medical Center in Wichita.

He was born Aug. 22, 1949 to William LeRoy and Maxine Evelyn Calhoun Bangs.

He married Janis Marie James March 17, 1979. She survives.

He had worked at National Beef in Liberal for nine years before going to work at the gas companies that served the area for more than 20 years.
