ULYSSES – Connie F. Nichols, 86, died Monday, Aug. 5, 2024 at Western Prairie Senior Living Community in Ulysses.
She was born July 7, 1938 to Harry and Suze (Hart) Dierking.
She married Wilbert “Nick” Nichols July 15, 1956. He preceded her in death.
ARMANDINA FRANCO
ULYSSES – Armandina (Mandy) Franco, 68, died Monday, Aug. 5, 2024, at St. Catherine Hospital in Garden City.
She was born Jan. 10, 1956 to Armando and Aurora (Sanchez) Franco.
At the age of 12, she became the pianist at the Calvary Temple Assembly of God Church in Garden City.
ANARI AYALA MEDINA
ULYSSES – Anari Aydee Ayala Medina, 26, died Sunday, Aug. 4, 2024 in rural Hamilton County.
She was born June 28, 1998 to Arnoldo and L. Angelica (Mata Vega) Medina.
She married Fernando Ayala Sept. 13, 2016. He survives.
ESTHER DAVIS
After an amazing and full life, Esther Mary Davis, age 100, died Sunday, Aug. 4, 2024, at the Pleasant Valley Manor Nursing Home in Pleasant Valley, Mo.
She was born April 18, 1924, in Tyrone, Okla. to J. Clayton and Elsie (Coats) Hoover.
Esther was a proud graduate of Eureka High School in Baker, Oklahoma, where she was salutatorian of her graduating class. She also completed one year at Panhandle State University in Goodwell, Oklahoma.
