Javier Uribe Jr., known affectionately as Javis, 26, died Monday, June 24, 2024 in Santa Rosa, N.M.
He was born Sept. 23, 1997 to Javier Uribe Amaya and Francisca (Teran) Aguilar. He was brought up by his paternal grandparents, Rafael Uribe Herrera and Romualda Amaya Arreola.
He graduated from Liberal High School in 2016. He attended K-State University and worked for RES Cable Spicer.
Patricia Ann Pennington, 88, died July 9, 2023 in Kingwood, Texas.
She was born March 18, 1935 to Timothy Shea and Hazel Thurman.
She married Lester L. Pennington August 20, 1955. He preceded her in death in 2000.
MEADE – Roy Wade Geddes, 69, died Saturday, June 22, 2024 in Meade.
He was born February 19, 1955 to Orville (O.M.) and Elma (Reny) Irene (Adams) Geddes.
He married Pat Smith. After several years of marriage, the couple separated.
HUGOTON – Jamee Elizabeth (Sewell) Perez, 42, died Friday, June 21, 2024.
She was born Aug. 17, 1981 to Mike Sewell and Thea (Rosel) Schnittker.
She married Joshua Perez March 17, 2011. He survives.
ULYSSES – Denise L. Beard, 74, died Friday, June 7, 2024 at Wheatridge Park Care Center in Liberal.
She was born Sept. 17, 1949 to Clyde and Mollie (Schilling) Beard.
