PLAINS – Gerald W. Hill, 89, died Friday, Aug. 2, 2024 at the Stevens County Hospital in Hugoton.
He was born Nov. 27, 1934 to Roy and Wilma (Cullumber) Hill.
He married Anna Strader June 20, 1954. She survives.

Frances Kay Cathcart, 76, died Wednesday, July 31, 2024 at her home in Liberal.
She was born Jan. 11, 1948 to Grant and Irene (Stebens) Oshel.
She married Gerald Lee Cathcart Aug. 10, 1965. He preceded her in death July 17, 2019
DONALD POTTER
Donald Lee Potter, 87, died Friday, Aug. 2, 2024 in Walters, Okla.
He was born April 14, 1937 to Horace Lee and Wilmuth Lee (Skaggs) Potter.
He married Doris Joann Caldwell Nov. 30, 1955. She survives.
EVERETT BETTS
Everett Dean Betts, age 15, passed away Thursday, Aug. 1, 2024 at Swedish Medical Center in Englewood, Colo.
He was born April 26, 2009, in St. Joseph, Mo., to Scott and Betsy (Quail) Betts.
MICHAEL HARRISON
Michael “Mike” Harrison, 62, of Green Valley, AZ, departed this earth July 18, 2024, to go be with our Lord after a long battle with health complications.
Mike grew up in Liberal, where he graduated from Liberal High School and then went on to play football at Northwest College on a scholarship.
