Tracey (Mocey) Jean Nix, 69 of Flint, Texas, passed away peacefully at home with family on August 27, 2024.
There will be two Celebration of Life services to remember her – September 7 at 2 p.m. at Lanes Chapel, 8720 Old Jacksonville Hwy, Tyler TX 75703; and Sept. 14 at 2 p.m. at Lone Star Friends Church, 2698 KS-51, Hugoton, KS 67951
Tracey was born in Fort Sill, Okla. on February 8, 1955. She lived there briefly then moved to St. John, where she attended school until 5th grade. In the fall of 1965 at the age of 10 she moved to Hugoton, where she graduated high school with honors in 1972.
Donald “Max” Vangieson, 65, passed away Friday, August 30, 2024 at his residence in Liberal.
He was born on February 20, 1959 in Liberal, the son of Donald L. and Dorothy M. (Wilson) Vangieson.
He attended Liberal High School, where he graduated in 1977.
Velma LaVon Luck, 94, died Sunday, Sept. 1, 2024 at Bethany Village Nursing Home in Lindsborg.
She was born April 17, 1930 to J.R. and Elsie Blythe in Pratt.
She married Delvin P. Luck June 26, 1976. He preceded her in death.
Linda Lou DeCamp, 75, died Wednesday, Aug. 28, 2024 at her home in Liberal.
She was born Feb. 25, 1949 to Junior and Naomi (Lutz) Wilson.
She married Daryl DeCamp July 20, 1973. He survives.
