She born May 13, 1929 to Sam and Ruth Kostreva in Pound, Wisc.
She married Dwain Towner July 13, 1957. He preceded her in death.

Robert Eugene “Jack” Hightower, 85, died Friday, Jan. 3, 2025 at Anna Mae Owen Residential Hospice House.
He was born July 18, 1939 to Freddy and Edna Mynatt Hightower.
At 17 he left Arkansas for Wichita to work with his uncle at Boeing. It was there he fell in love and married Janette Reese. They moved to Plains and spent their time together farming. She passed away at the age of 39.
Esther Marie Brown, 85, died Thursday, Dec. 26, 2024 at Southwest Medical Center in Liberal.
She was born March 4, 1939 to Philip and Mabel (Bennett) Schultz.
She married Alvis C. Springmeyer April 19, 1957. He preceded her in death Aug. 15, 1970.
She married Edgar "Ed" Brown Jan. 15, 1971. He preceded her in death Feb. 20, 2011.
ULYSSES – Antonio (Tony) Salvador Ibarra, 51, died Monday, Dec. 30, 2024 at St. Catherine Hospital in Garden City.
He was born on April 5, 1973 to Jose and Blanca Estela (Sosa) Ibarra.
He married Jenny Young Dec. 21, 2024. She survives.
Rebecca Jo Harmon, 71, died Saturday, Dec. 28, 2024 in Liberal.
She was born Oct. 8,1953 to Charles and Mabel (Shorter) Harmon.
She worked as a cosmetologist and did field work for Panhandle Eastern. However, her true calling came when she ventured into the medical field. She went to Coffeyville to receive her EMT/Paramedic Training. As an EMT and Paramedic, her devotion to service led her to go to Seward County Community College to earn her associate’s degree and become a Registered Nurse. She worked for both Southwest Medical Center and Good Samaritans as an RN.
