Paul M. Quiring, 49, died Monday, Jan. 13, 2025.
He was born on May 14, 1975 to Leo and Jeanie Munoz. At 3 years old, he became a member of the Quiring family. His parents are David and Lillian (Dick) Quiring of Liberal.
He was an active participant at the Calvary Mennonite Church in Liberal. He enjoyed music and sang with enthusiasm.
Sheryl Sue (George) Gray, 78, died Sunday, Jan. 19, 2025 at Stevens County Hospital in Hugoton.
She was born July 19, 1946 to Dale Knox and Norma Louise (Ireland) George.
Her journey took her to Denver, where she earned an associate's degree as an X-ray technician. For many years, she dedicated her skills and heart to the community at Stevens County Hospital.
David Alvarez Cardenas, 80, died Wednesday, Jan. 22, 2025 at Southwest Medical Center in Liberal.
He was born June 16, 1944 to Trinidad Alvarez and Maria de la Luz Cardenas.
He married Petra Alvarez in October 1974. She survives.
Edgar Adolfo Rios-Meraz, died Sunday, Jan. 19, 2025, in Gray County.
He was born Jan. 9, 2003 to Manuel and Nancy Elizabeth (Meraz) Rios.
He was a graduate of Satanta High School.
Natividad "Nat" Hernandez, 78, died Saturday, Jan. 18, 2025 at his home in Garden City.
He was born Sept. 3, 1946, to Valentine and Guadalupe (Mosquedo) Hernandez.
At the age of 17, he answered the call to serve his country in the United States Army, joining the ranks of the Airborne unit.
