Susan Marie Zielke was born Oct. 18, 1952, to Lawerance ‘Ike’ and Myrtle (Moran) Eisenhauer at Emporia. 

Susan went home to be with her Lord Monday, Oct. 7, 2024, at Kansas Medical Center in Andover. 

As a child, Susan lived in Emporia and attended the Catholic grade school in Kismet. She graduated from Southwestern Heights High School in Plains in 1970.  She attended Barton Community College in Great Bend and studied nursing. 

Mable Coleen Smith Harviston “Mae” was born in Liberal, Kansas to Gilbert and Pearl (Waybright) Smith and went home July 14, 2024, in North Las Vegas.

She wished to express her thanks for the years of love and laughter and for being part of her life.

ULYSSES – Naomi Ellen Appling, 46, died Sept. 25, 2024.

She was born March 23, 1978.

She married Scott Appling Aug. 12, 2016. He survives.

Cecil Lewis Ashlock, 91, died Aug. 12, 2024 at his home in Grain Valley, Mo. 

He was born Dec. 15, 1932, to Kearrian Cecil and Ruby (Weese) Ashlock.

He married his wife, Lucille, Jan. 4, 1953. She preceded him in death.
