Glenda Kay Nelson, 85, died Friday, Oct. 25, 2024.

She was born December 4, 1938 to Glenn Kenneth and Margueritte Lucille(Simmons) Dowling.

She graduated from Dodge City High School.

Catherine Sue Batman, 65, died Tuesday, Oct. 15, 2024 in Moore, Okla.

She was born Oct. 22, 1958 to Harold (Red) Smith and Joan (Flickner) Smith.

She married Michael Batman March 4, 1978. He survives.

Wayne Batman Griffin, 72, died Saturday, Oct. 26, 2024 at the Kearny County Hospital in Lakin.

He was born Jan. 24, 1952 to Grayson and Phyllis Naomi (Batman) Griffin.

He married Connie Jean Trimmell Dec. 27, 1975. She survives.

Amanda Martinez, 62, died Wednesday, Oct. 23, 2024 at her home in Liberal.

She was born April 27, 1962 to Romulo Martinez Guzman and Maria del Refugio Hernandez de Santiago in Emiliano Zapata, Durango, Mexico.

She married Martin Calderon March 24, 2018. He survives.

Lawrence Daniel “Dan” Bell, 91, died Saturday, Oct. 19, 2024 at the Medical City in Denton, Texas.

He was born Dec, 4, 1932 to Robert Lafayette and Hattie (Maggard) Bell in Talihina, Okla.

He married Martha Eline Henry June 10, 1955 in Ada, Okla. She preceded him in death March 13, 1997.

He married Pat Ponder April 6, 2002. She preceded him in death Feb. 9, 2014.
